Facilities Contract Specialist – Support Services

About the role

The Facilities Contract Specialist – Support Services will oversee outsourced facilities contracts, ensuring service delivery aligns with agreed SLAs, KPIs, budgets and quality standards. Reporting to the Head of Facilities Business Unit, the role bridges procurement, operations and internal stakeholders to maintain seamless facility support across Telkom Kenya.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor outsourced facilities service contracts, ensuring compliance with SLAs, KPIs, budgets and timelines.
• Oversee performance of service providers including cleaning, catering, reception, hospitality, travel management and other hard and soft services.
• Collaborate with Procurement for vendor sourcing, evaluation, contract negotiations and renewals.
• Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders about planned works, service interruptions and operational issues.
• Monitor Service Call Logging system, generate reports, analyse trends and close tickets according to KPI targets.
• Conduct regular service reviews with contractors, address gaps and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards, as well as statutory requirements.
• Maintain accurate contract documentation, vendor records and audit‑ready reports.

Required profile

• Degree in Real Estate, Business Management, Facilities Management or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar contract management role.
• Strong knowledge of contract management and basic financial management principles.
