Fertilizer Procurement Associate

About the role

Seeking a procurement professional to lead fertilizer procurement, ensuring cost‑efficient sourcing and reliable on‑time delivery. Drive strong individual execution and contribute to team success. In this role, your focus will be dedicated to deep‑dive data analysis to determine optimal purchasing windows, and managing and executing the entire procurement process independently.

Key responsibilities

• Support creation and execution of seasonal procurement strategies to achieve >90% OTIF delivery, market‑competitive costs and 5% YoY cost savings.
• Maintain absolute quality control, targeting zero quality issues for farmers and >80% on‑time payment rate for suppliers.
• Proactively evaluate farmer needs against global market trends, supplier capacity and inventory to prevent supply gaps.
• Drive lead‑time improvements through streamlined delivery, process automation and continuous improvement of goods receipt and loading quality control.
• Develop and maintain complex Google Sheets models to track market trends, landed costs and provide decision support on optimal purchase timing.

Required profile

• Solid knowledge of global procurement processes, international shipping and supply‑chain operations.
• Advanced analytical mindset with high proficiency in Google Sheets for pricing, forecasting and decision‑support models.
• Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills, able to influence internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
