Field Marketer – Mobile Phone Financing

About the role

Buy Simu Technologies is a fast‑growing mobile phone financing company in Kenya. We are seeking an energetic Field Marketer to expand our market presence, increase brand visibility and acquire new customers across Nairobi and other regions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and explore new markets for phone financing and cash‑loan products.
• Conduct field visits to assess market potential, customer needs and competitor activity.
• Plan and execute on‑ground marketing campaigns and activations in high‑traffic areas.
• Onboard and train merchants and retail partners, maintaining strong relationships.
• Generate leads, educate customers on financing options and guide them through onboarding.
• Track daily and weekly performance against onboarding and revenue targets.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends and submit regular reports with recommendations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service and Collections teams to ensure a smooth customer journey.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Sales or a related field.
• Proven experience in field marketing, sales or merchant acquisition.
• Strong communication, persuasion and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently, meet targets and travel frequently across Kenya.
• Good reporting and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of mobile phones and financing or lending products (preferred).
