Field Sales Manager

About the role

Solar Panda Kenya is a fast‑growing clean‑tech company that brings affordable solar power to households without electricity. As a Field Sales Manager you will lead a team of commission‑based sales agents, driving the adoption of solar home systems across your assigned shop area.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train, motivate and mentor a team of field sales agents.
• Develop and implement sales strategies and lead‑generation initiatives.
• Monitor daily performance of agents, provide coaching and ensure targets are met.
• Prepare regular sales reports for the Area Sales Manager.
• Identify training needs and coordinate with HR for new programs.
• Liaise with the shop administrator to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Track market trends, customer behavior and competitor activity, and share insights with the team.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in field or retail environments.
• Proven ability to build and lead high‑performing sales teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Results‑oriented with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets.
• Commitment to integrity, hard work and respect for customers.
