About the role

Jubilee Life Insurance is seeking a motivated Financial Advisor to join its Thika branch. The role focuses on promoting life insurance products, building client relationships, and achieving sales targets in a dynamic, target‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, referrals, networking and other sales initiatives.
• Engage prospective and existing clients to assess their financial protection and insurance needs.
• Explain life insurance products, benefits, terms and policy options clearly to clients.
• Recommend appropriate insurance solutions based on clients’ needs and financial circumstances.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients, providing after‑sales service and regular communication.
• Follow up on leads, proposals and applications to drive sales and meet assigned targets.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, leads and sales activities.
• Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, marketing activities and stay updated on product and industry developments.

Required profile

• Minimum High School Certificate (KCSE or equivalent); a Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance is an advantage.
• Previous sales or marketing experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
• Self‑driven, ambitious, results‑oriented with good negotiation and persuasion abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a target‑driven environment.
• Willingness to report to the Thika branch.
