Financial Advisor

About the role

ICEA LION Group is seeking a full‑time Financial Advisor to join its Machakos office. You will work directly with clients to understand their financial goals, analyse their situations and propose appropriate insurance and investment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Meet clients, assess needs and recommend suitable financial products.
• Prepare and present personalised financial plans.
• Follow up on leads, maintain and grow client relationships.
• Educate clients on risk management, savings, retirement planning and wealth creation.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets and support local market outreach.

Required profile

• Strong advisory skills, including client needs assessment and basic financial planning.
• Proven sales, negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation capabilities.
• Good analytical and numeracy skills for interpreting financial data.
• High integrity, professionalism and customer focus aligned with company values.
• Ability to work on‑site in Machakos, manage time effectively and meet performance targets.
• Relevant academic background in finance, business, economics or related field; certifications in insurance or financial services are a plus.
• Previous experience in financial services, insurance or banking preferred but not mandatory for motivated candidates.
