General Manager – LPG Distribution Company

About the role

The General Manager will lead the launch and growth of True Gas Limited, a newly created LPG distribution business. Reporting to senior leadership, the GM will be responsible for establishing the company’s foundation, overseeing daily operations, and driving commercial expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Define company structure, strategy, governance and launch roadmap; oversee design, construction and commissioning of LPG infrastructure.
• Create SOPs and ensure full compliance with licensing, environmental, health, safety, security and environmental (HSSE) regulations.
• Recruit and build the initial team, establish performance systems and a strong organisational culture.
• Manage day‑to‑day operational efficiency, reliability and cost‑effectiveness while enforcing SOPs.
• Maintain continuous regulatory and safety compliance, lead HSSE initiatives and manage license renewals.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, procurement, supply continuity and financial targets.
• Lead, develop and optimise team performance, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive market expansion, commercial growth, brand building and strategic positioning to scale the business.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in a regulated, capital‑intensive industry.
• Strong operational oversight and ability to build organisational structures from scratch.
• Deep knowledge of regulatory, licensing, environmental and HSSE requirements.
• Commercial acumen with a track record of driving profitable growth.
• Excellent people‑management skills and ability to cultivate a high‑performance culture.
