Head of Client Operations (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Head of Client Operations to own the end‑to‑end client journey after the contract is signed. In this remote, full‑time role you will be responsible for client results, campaign performance and long‑term retention, working in a fast‑moving startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for 20‑30 client accounts, leading check‑ins, managing expectations and handling requests.
• Proactively identify risks, prevent churn and ensure high client satisfaction and retention.
• Diagnose and fix under‑performing cold‑email campaigns, addressing deliverability, list quality and messaging issues.
• Write and refine outbound copy, improve inbox placement and response rates using tools such as Apollo.io, Smartlead.ai and Instantly.ai.
• Build and evolve delivery systems, SOPs and playbooks, tracking SLAs, client health and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with developers on technical issues and with the outreach team on campaign execution.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in early‑stage or scaling startups, preferably in client success or marketing operations.
• Proven ability to take ownership and deliver results without waiting for direction.
• Comfortable working with imperfect systems, iterating quickly and communicating directly with founders.
