About the role
Family Bank Kenya is seeking a dynamic leader to head its Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) division. The role focuses on shaping the bank’s MSME strategy, driving growth, and leading digital transformation initiatives across the sector.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive MSME strategy, identifying high‑growth sectors.
- Drive loan, deposit, and non‑funded income growth while managing portfolio risk and returns.
- Lead digital transformation efforts to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Build and nurture relationships with industry stakeholders and create sector‑specific financial solutions.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a high‑performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10‑12 years of banking experience, including 6‑8 years in SME leadership.
- Proven track record of loan and deposit growth and managing large portfolios.
- Experience with digital banking platforms and transformation projects.
