Human Resource Generalist

About the role

The Human Resources Generalist will perform a wide range of HR duties at a professional level, supporting senior HR management and operational teams. This role focuses on administering HR programs, handling employee relations, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Administer compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes, investigations, performance and talent management, and occupational health and safety.
• Collaborate with operations managers on field staff employee relations and progressive discipline.
• Participate in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Assist in developing and interpreting personnel policies and procedures.
• Represent the company for unemployment claims and ensure I‑9 compliance through periodic audits.
• Manage the HR phone line, answer employee questions, and refer inquiries as needed.
• Execute onboarding and termination tasks and support HR projects and initiatives.
• Perform any other duties as assigned, with flexibility for branch-specific needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of related HR experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organizational abilities.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent negotiation, conflict‑resolution, and time‑management capabilities.
• Preferred: PHR or SHRM‑CP certification, Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field, and experience in the health‑care sector.
