Human Resources Executive

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Human Resources Executive to lead our people operations at DUIT TECHNOLOGY LIMITED. In this role you will champion employees, nurture a positive workplace culture, and align HR initiatives with our business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end talent acquisition, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and extending offers.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee queries, mediate conflicts and promote a supportive environment.
• Oversee performance management processes, assist managers with appraisals and career development planning.
• Support compensation and benefits administration, including payroll processing and health‑insurance coordination.
• Maintain compliance with Kenyan employment laws, keep accurate personnel records and update handbooks.
• Identify learning needs, organize training sessions and drive retention and engagement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an HR Manager, HR Officer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures and local employment legislation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; HR certifications (e.g., SHRM‑CP, CIPD) preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and conflict‑resolution abilities with high emotional intelligence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
• Competence in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
