Human Resources Manager (M/F)

About the role

NETIS Kenya is seeking a Human Resources Manager to act as a strategic partner for operational teams in Nairobi. The role supports managers in applying the Group HR strategy while ensuring compliance with Kenyan legislation and Group policies.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accurate payroll processing, benefits administration, statutory deductions and tax compliance.
• Maintain complete and up‑to‑date employee records and manage medical insurance and other benefits.
• Partner with managers to define recruitment needs, lead local recruitment and ensure adherence to Group approval workflows.
• Deliver effective onboarding and off‑boarding processes, including all required documentation.
• Identify training needs, coordinate learning initiatives and manage the annual performance appraisal cycle.
• Advise managers on Kenyan employment law, handle employee relations cases and liaise with labour authorities when required.
• Ensure strict implementation of Group HR policies, prepare monthly HR reports and provide analysis for performance improvement.
• Lead, support and develop the local HR team, set priorities and monitor objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR management, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Kenyan employment legislation and Group HR policies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage payroll, recruitment, performance management and employee relations.
• Experience leading and developing an HR team.
