Independent Sales Representative

About the role

Lift-Tech Solutions (K) is seeking a motivated Independent Sales Representative to join its team in Kenya. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on expanding the company’s presence in the vertical transport, material‑handling and warehousing sectors across East Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and lead qualification.
• Visit potential and existing clients to present products and services, conduct demonstrations, and prepare quotations.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline status.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, installation, and after‑sales support.
• Monitor market trends, gather customer feedback, and provide input on pricing, promotions, and product positioning.

Required profile

• Strong sales and negotiation abilities with a proven track record in B2B or industrial sales.
• Excellent customer‑relationship management and communication skills.
• Basic technical aptitude and willingness to learn about lifting and material‑handling equipment.
• Organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple accounts and reporting requirements.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet or exceed sales targets.
• Fluency in English and local languages spoken in Kampala.

Required skills

• Experience using CRM tools to manage leads and client communications.
