Information Technology Specialist

About the role

The Information Technology Specialist provides comprehensive end‑user and office infrastructure support, ensuring that all hardware, software, and networking resources operate smoothly. This role involves both onsite assistance and remote coordination to maintain a productive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver onsite support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals across Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms.
• Provision, deploy, replace, and decommission IT equipment while maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and user‑related issues, escalating to Level 2 support when needed.
• Maintain office IT services, including network connectivity, printing, voice, AV, and workplace technologies.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot switches, routers, access points, and related networking equipment.
• Assist with smart office solutions, digital signage, conference‑room technology, and vendor‑managed maintenance.
• Conduct asset audits, manage warranty repairs, device redeployment, disposal, and stock control.
• Support office moves, hardware refreshes, equipment relocations, and technology deployments for business events.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile devices, printers, and office IT infrastructure.
• Basic networking knowledge (LAN, Wi‑Fi, switches, routers, access points).
• Experience with hardware asset management and inventory control.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer‑service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with remote support teams and external vendors.
