Information Technology Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Information Technology Supervisor to lead the management and daily maintenance of our network and CCTV infrastructure at the Kenya Laundry Powder Factory. The role ensures uninterrupted surveillance operations, supports various departments, and provides essential IT assistance across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Internet network and CCTV system throughout the factory, guaranteeing continuous operation.
• Gather requirements from departments and work with the construction team to install and manage new CCTV and Internet systems.
• Oversee daily cleaning, inspection, and maintenance of NVRs, decoders, and cameras.
• Train users on data‑monitoring system modules.
• Handle desktop operation and maintenance tasks and provide ad‑hoc IT support as directed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• More than 3 years of experience in monitoring operation and maintenance.
• At least 1 year of experience in Internet implementation and installation.
• Strong communication and coordination skills for inter‑departmental collaboration.

Required skills

• Familiarity with IT server‑room equipment and monitoring system integration.
• Experience configuring mainstream monitoring systems; large‑scale industrial deployment a plus.
• Optical fiber splicing.
• Installation and routine maintenance of bullet and dome cameras, UPS power supplies.
• Windows Server administration.
• Huawei switch configuration and basic networking.
• Knowledge of Haikang monitoring systems (preferred).
• Understanding of integration between monitoring, access control, storage, and server systems.
