In‑store Sales Representative

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic In‑store Sales Representative to join our Nairobi retail team. You will help customers choose the right smartphones, laptops, tablets and accessories while delivering a high‑standard shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in selecting smartphones, laptops, tablets, accessories and other electronic products.
• Demonstrate product features, specifications and benefits.
• Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and store KPIs.
• Cross‑sell and upsell complementary products, accessories, warranties and value‑added services.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge on the latest technology trends and launches.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Ensure products are well displayed, priced correctly and the showroom remains clean and attractive.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints and after‑sales support professionally.
• Monitor stock levels and report low inventory or fast‑moving items.
• Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years retail sales experience, preferably in smartphones, laptops or consumer electronics.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance with a confident, outgoing personality.
• Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends when required.
