Internal Audit Manager

About the role
The Internal Audit Manager will lead the internal audit function for the Kenya and Uganda cluster, reporting directly to the Global Head of Internal Audit. This senior position ensures robust audit coverage, financial assurance, and risk mitigation across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and execute the store audit program across Kenya and Uganda.
- Conduct operational, process, and financial audits to assess controls and compliance.
- Perform financial reviews and provide assurance over financial statements.
- Lead investigations as required and report findings to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with the Global Head of Internal Audit to align audit strategies with corporate risk objectives.
Required profile
- 5 to 10 years of experience in internal audit and risk management.
- Degree, Honours or Masters in Audit, Accounting or a related field.
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or an equivalent professional certification.
Required skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience using Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
