Internal Auditor

About the role

The Internal Auditor will support Brookside Dairy Limited in safeguarding its assets and ensuring the effectiveness of internal control systems. Working within the Internal Audit department, you will evaluate processes, investigate irregularities and contribute to continuous improvement of audit practices.

Key responsibilities

• Examine and evaluate the adequacy of internal controls and recommend improvements.
• Review transactions and activities related to company assets to ensure compliance with policies and protect against theft, fraud or misappropriation.
• Handle routine queries, verify adherence to procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Conduct ad‑hoc investigations and assignments as required.
• Assist the Internal Audit Manager in tracking implementation of audit recommendations and provide further guidance.
• Help prepare draft audit reports outlining findings and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with Brookside Management Systems.

Required profile

• Entry‑level qualification.
• Minimum 24 months (2 years) of relevant audit or finance experience.
• Ability to work independently and follow up on audit points.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Familiarity with internal audit processes and management systems.
