About the role
The Internal Auditor will support Machakos Institute Of Technology by identifying financial, operational and legal risks, testing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
Key responsibilities
- Identify potential financial, operational, or legal threats.
- Test the strength and efficiency of company procedures.
- Review documents, data, and accounting records.
- Create clear reports detailing findings and recommended corrective actions.
- Ensure the business follows local laws and internal rules.
- Track the implementation of management’s corrective measures.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
- 2 to 4 years of audit or accounting experience.
- Strong analytical thinking and high attention to detail.
