Issuing Officer – Warehouse & Logistics

About the role

The Issuing Officer is responsible for coordinating and controlling the accurate and timely issuing, loading, verification, and transfer of graded materials. This role ensures that materials are loaded correctly against delivery documents and SAP records while maintaining safe and efficient loading operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily truck allocations with the Team Leader.
• Work with Godown Clerks, Loaders, and Forklift Operators to load trucks accurately and on schedule.
• Verify SAP code, colour code, truck number, and material details against waybills or delivery notes.
• Guide Truck Drivers, Loaders, and Forklift Operators to ensure smooth loading processes.
• Obtain final material confirmation from the Assistant Manager – Grading and ensure timely transfer to receiving areas across all shifts.
• Maintain coordination with the Production Department for smooth material flow.
• Conduct thorough verification of SAP codes, colour codes, quantities, and material quality, reporting deviations to the Manager – Grading.
• Ensure timely transfer of materials from the receiving area to the designated godown.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
