IT Field Technician

About the role

Darkhorse Tech is seeking a remote IT Field Technician to serve dental offices throughout the Syracuse‑to‑Albany region. You will travel to client sites, resolve a wide range of technical issues, and provide remote assistance when you are not on‑site, all while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to dental practices in the assigned region to troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.
• Support specialized dental imaging devices, phones, printers, and general IT infrastructure.
• Perform routine maintenance, installations, and upgrades for client systems.
• Provide remote support via ticketing tools when not on‑site.
• Document issues, resolutions, and escalation steps in the service ticket system.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their technology needs are met promptly.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently in the field and collaborate with a remote support team.

Required skills
