Key Account Manager – Kenya (12‑Month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

SharkNinja is seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to lead sales growth across Kenya and the wider East African market. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will develop and execute account‑specific strategies, launch new products, and ensure the Shark and Ninja brands are represented professionally both online and offline.

Key responsibilities

• Build and execute a sales strategy that exceeds sales and margin targets for assigned accounts.
• Launch new products and grow core and new categories in the East African market.
• Plan and run on‑line, in‑store, and off‑page promotional activities.
• Provide accurate forecasts aligned with company goals.
• Negotiate mutually beneficial agreements with retailers and partners.
• Analyse market and sell‑out data to identify business opportunities.
• Organise trade shows, retail events, and represent the company at industry meetings.
• Identify and onboard new retailers to expand business reach.

Required profile

• Fluent in English; additional local or regional languages are a plus.
• Minimum 7 years of successful sales experience, preferably in small domestic appliances or consumer goods.
• Results‑driven with strong negotiation and analytical abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
