About the role

This senior position leads end‑to‑end test delivery and governance for the GCIO organisation as part of the strategic GDCW data‑centre migration programme. The role can be based in India or Malaysia and will ensure seamless migration of applications while maintaining high quality, risk management and business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the application‑level testing strategy aligned with migration timelines and business priorities.
• Establish a standardized, scalable testing approach covering system, integration, business, performance and migration testing cycles.
• Embed AI‑driven and automation‑led testing to improve quality, speed and coverage.
• Validate critical business journeys, IBS applications and customer‑impacting flows during migration.
• Partner with Business & Operations teams to confirm readiness and acceptance prior to cut‑over.
• Govern execution of Migration Test Plans, test case management and execution tracking in Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Manage defects, blockers and cross‑domain risks to support near‑zero business disruption.
• Continuously improve test lifecycle processes for efficiency, traceability and quality outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in test delivery for large‑scale migration programmes.
• Strong understanding of test strategy, governance and risk mitigation.
• Ability to collaborate with business, operations and technical teams across multiple domains.
• Experience ensuring regulatory compliance and business continuity during cut‑over.
