Learning & Development and Performance Management Officer

About the role

The Learning & Development and Performance Management Officer will lead Burhani Engineers Limited’s employee learning agenda and performance management processes. The role is centred on training needs analysis, program design, digital learning systems, compliance training and driving overall organisational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct annual and periodic Training Needs Analyses across all departments.
• Develop and implement yearly learning and development plans aligned with corporate goals.
• Design competency frameworks and capability‑building initiatives, including succession‑planning interventions.
• Facilitate onboarding, induction and orientation programmes.
• Organise regulatory, compliance, technical, leadership and soft‑skills training sessions.
• Maintain training calendars, ensure timely execution of mandatory and statutory training.
• Coordinate internal and external training programmes.
• Manage and optimise the Learning Management System (LMS) and other digital learning platforms.
• Automate training tracking, reporting and learning records; generate analytics and performance reports.
• Promote e‑learning, virtual and blended learning solutions.
• Maintain accurate training databases and learning records.
• Monitor training effectiveness and support performance‑improvement initiatives.
