Logistics Specialist

About the role

The Logistics Specialist will provide reliable and efficient logistics support to local and regional customers, optimizing supply‑chain activities and improving delivery performance. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will work cross‑functionally to reduce costs and drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Process sales orders for local and indent orders and follow up with product companies for timely fulfillment.
• Prepare and manage import/export documentation in compliance with customs regulations.
• Select and coordinate the most appropriate transport mode for each shipment.
• Apply correct sales terms, Incoterms, and payment terms to all orders.
• Maintain and update the contract review database.
• Liaise with customs agents to ensure prompt clearance and process customs duty payments.
• Procure non‑core logistics services from approved providers.
• Provide order status updates to internal and external customers.
• Collaborate with finance to resolve EDI errors and reconcile Goods in Transit (GIT) reports.
• Track orders, monitor transit times, and manage reverse logistics including surplus returns.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives within logistics operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics operations.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain, business administration or related field.
• Understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
