Machine Operator – Production & Packaging

About the role

Sunda International is seeking a full‑time Machine Operator to join its production team in Kajiado County. The role involves safely operating and monitoring production and packaging equipment to ensure smooth, efficient manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust production and packaging machines according to standard procedures.
• Conduct routine inspections, perform basic troubleshooting, and report any defects or faults.
• Monitor product quality, record production data, and ensure compliance with GMP, 5S, and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support the team in meeting daily production targets.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production Technology, Manufacturing, or a related technical field is an advantage.
• Ability to work on shifts in a fast‑paced setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Basic machine operation and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Familiarity with 5S workplace organization.
• Experience with production or packaging machinery.
