Mobile App Developer Internship (3 months)

About the role

We are looking for an Android Developer to join our team for a three‑month internship. You will work closely with key stakeholders and contribute across the full software development life‑cycle, from requirements gathering to design, implementation, testing, and support.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit requirements and define application architecture.
• Create high‑level design artifacts and detailed technical designs.
• Develop high‑quality Android code for assigned modules.
• Lead validation activities, including unit, integration, and system testing.
• Support implementation, transition, and warranty phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of each year of education.
• At least four years of experience in information technology with a focus on Android development.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin for Android.
• Experience building Android apps from scratch with architectural patterns such as MVP, MVVM, or VIPER.
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third‑party libraries (e.g., Dagger, RxJava, Retrofit, GSON, Jackson).
• Hands‑on experience with Android testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito.
• Familiarity with Android build system, Jetpack Compose, Room Database, and Firebase.
• Understanding of memory management, concurrency, UI design principles, design patterns, and test‑driven development.
