Network Architect

About the role

Prism Network Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Network Architect to lead both pre‑sales solution design and post‑sales implementation for enterprise customers. Based onsite in Nairobi County, Kenya, the role acts as a trusted advisor, translating business needs into secure, scalable, and resilient network solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to gather business, technical and operational requirements.
• Conduct discovery workshops, site assessments and technical consultations.
• Develop high‑level and detailed solution architectures, technical proposals, SOWs, BOMs and implementation plans.
• Lead technical presentations, demos, proof‑of‑concepts and support RFP/RFQ responses.
• Provide effort estimates, project scoping, risk assessments and roadmap development.
• Lead deployment of enterprise infrastructure projects, producing detailed design documents and runbooks.
• Validate solutions through testing, acceptance procedures and migration planning.
• Troubleshoot complex network and security issues and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
• Deliver as‑built documentation, operational handover packages and customer training.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and implementing complex enterprise network infrastructures.
• Current industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCDP, AWS, Azure, or equivalent).
• Hands‑on expertise in enterprise networking, cybersecurity, cloud networking and data‑center architectures.
• Strong ability to act as the primary technical authority during sales and delivery engagements.
• Excellent communication skills for workshops, presentations and knowledge transfer.
