NGIS Front Office Supervisor

About the role

Amentum is looking for an NGIS Front Office Supervisor to manage daily front‑desk operations for a unique U.S. Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role combines leadership, guest‑service excellence, and hands‑on use of hotel property management systems.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise front office staff to ensure efficient reservations, check‑ins and check‑outs.
• Maintain accurate reservation system data and manage room availability.
• Oversee credit‑card terminal operations, cashiering and payment processing in line with financial policies.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly to sustain high satisfaction levels.
• Lead, mentor and train front office personnel, schedule shifts and conduct performance reviews.
• Operate the hotel property management system (PMS) for bookings, room assignments, billing and reporting.
• Produce operational reports on occupancy, revenue and other key metrics.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in hotel front‑desk administration, including reservations and guest services.
• Proficiency with hotel property management systems and reservation platforms.
• Experience handling credit‑card terminals and complying with financial processing rules.
• At least 1 year of college or university education in business administration, hospitality management or a related field.
• Strong organizational, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Customer‑focused attitude with the ability to address patron concerns professionally.
• Valid passport with international travel capability.
