About the role

The Rift Valley Technical Training Institute is seeking a qualified Nurse to provide comprehensive health services to its trainees. This full‑time position involves direct patient care, health education, and support for the institute’s clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess trainees to determine health care needs and develop care plans.
• Administer medication, provide patient care, and deliver health education and counseling.
• Refer trainees to appropriate health services when necessary.
• Implement institute health interventions, maintain clinical safety, and keep accurate statistical records.
• Manage medical supply inventory and prepare periodic health reports.

Required profile

• Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience or at least 2 years as a Registered Nurse III in a busy health facility.
• Valid enrollment certificate and practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya.
• Basic bookkeeping skills and computer literacy.
• Age above 25 years.
