Nutritionist

About the role

The Nutritionist will join our hospitality & hotel team in Westlands, Nairobi, delivering personalized nutrition assessments, meal planning and wellness education to a diverse client base. This contractor position focuses on improving client health outcomes while supporting the organization’s meal‑plan and wellness services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments, reviewing dietary habits, medical history, lifestyle and health goals.
• Identify deficiencies and health risks, then recommend appropriate nutrition interventions.
• Develop individualized meal plans and nutrition programs tailored to each client’s condition and preferences.
• Provide one‑on‑one counseling, education on healthy eating, portion control, hydration and sustainable lifestyle changes.
• Engage walk‑in, online and referred clients, promote and sell meal plans, nutrition packages and related wellness services.
• Deliver nutrition awareness sessions, workshops and community outreach programs.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety standards and maintain client confidentiality.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, consultations and progress reports.

Required profile

• Entry‑level qualification with at least 12 months of relevant experience.
• Ability to evaluate dietary habits, medical history and health goals.
• Strong communication skills for client counseling and education.
