Offensive Security Specialist – Entry Level

About the role

As an Offensive Security Specialist you will support the execution of penetration tests and security assessments across web applications, enterprise infrastructure, cloud environments and industrial systems. Working under senior guidance, you will help identify vulnerabilities, document findings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Support penetration testing of web applications, enterprise networks, cloud platforms and industrial control systems.
• Assist in security assessments of custom and third‑party applications, business‑critical systems and hybrid cloud environments.
• Participate in vulnerability validation, attack‑surface analysis and security testing activities.
• Document findings and draft technical reports with vulnerability descriptions, risk assessments and remediation recommendations.
• Help present assessment results to stakeholders.
• Contribute to research on emerging threats, attack techniques and security tools.

Required profile

• Completed university degree in (Business) Informatics, Computer Science, Cyber Security or a related IT field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Initial experience in cyber security with basic understanding of web‑application security testing, network/infrastructure security concepts and vulnerability assessment methodologies.
• Fluent English communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, Active Directory).
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms and cloud security concepts.
• Exposure to common offensive security tools.
• Understanding of common web‑application vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10).
