Operations Supervisor

About the role

The Operations Supervisor will lead and coordinate the day‑to‑day activities of the ANT operations hub in Mombasa. This role ensures sustainable, profitable execution of clearing and forwarding services while managing a diverse team of drivers, riggers and clerks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Mombasa operations team, acting as the primary counterpart to Nairobi supervisors.
• Maintain and monitor standard operating processes to guarantee service quality and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee the fleet of vehicles, handling maintenance, allocation, licensing and utilization.
• Plan and coordinate the efficient clearance, handling and delivery of customer shipments, liaising with ports, CFS, yards and warehouses.
• Ensure accurate documentation of customer files in physical and electronic systems (SPOT, EDOC) and support credit‑control initiatives.
• Receive, verify and process invoices for ports, warehouses, accessories and transport against tariff cards or purchase orders.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Commerce or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in clearing and forwarding, preferably within the automotive sector.
• Proven leadership and organizational abilities with a result‑oriented mindset.
• Strong team‑player attitude, integrity and problem‑solving skills.
