Part-Time Direct Support Professional – Home & Community Based

About the role

Springbrook is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Part‑Time Direct Support Professionals in a home and community‑based setting. You will work one‑on‑one with adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them achieve personal goals and enjoy meaningful daily activities.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a positive role model and advocate for the person you support.
• Provide personal care such as bathing, toileting, and hygiene assistance as needed.
• Encourage independence by supporting decision‑making, communication, and social interaction.
• Facilitate community participation, including recreational, spiritual, and family events.
• Follow individualized support plans, learning materials, and goals.
• Complete required documentation and billing for services rendered.

Required profile

• Reliable, punctual, and dependable attendance.
• Compassionate and patient, with a genuine interest in supporting individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with supervisors.
• Willingness to build long‑lasting, trusting relationships with participants.

• Hourly pay: $17 for Respite care, $18 for Community Habilitation.
