Patching and Robotics Operator (NSW & QLD)

About the role

Pipe Management Australia is seeking experienced operators to join its permanent team in New South Wales and Queensland. You will work with state‑of‑the‑art CCTV, robotic grinding and cutting equipment to maintain and rehabilitate stormwater and wastewater pipelines for municipal councils and major contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CCTV inspection systems on sewer and storm‑water networks.
• Perform pipe cleaning and root‑cutting tasks.
• Use robotic grinders and cutters for pipe rehabilitation.
• Carry out patching and junction repairs on a variety of pipe sizes.
• Respond to emergency call‑backs, including weekend and evening work as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sewer and storm‑water reporting.
• Familiarity with Ipek or Proteus software.
• Experience with Wincan V8 or VXW equipment.
• Valid WHS General Induction Card (white card).
• MR or HR driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• High‑risk qualifications such as Confined Space Entry and Safe Work at Heights are highly regarded.
