Pool Attendant

About the role

The Pool Attendant ensures the swimming pool and surrounding areas at the Social Club are clean, safe, and well‑maintained. This full‑time position involves daily hygiene tasks, water‑quality monitoring and equipment upkeep to provide a pleasant environment for members.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily and weekly pool cleaning routines, including skimming, vacuuming and debris removal.
• Test and monitor water chemistry (pH, chlorine) and adjust chemicals to maintain safe standards.
• Operate and monitor pumps, filtration systems and related equipment, performing basic checks and reporting faults.
• Maintain health and safety compliance, identify hazards and support enforcement of pool usage rules.
• Assist with overall facility standards and support smooth day‑to‑day pool operations.

Required profile

• Diploma in any field.
• Minimum 1 year experience in pool maintenance or a similar role.
• Basic training in pool maintenance; lifeguard, first aid or CPR certification is an advantage.
• Reliable, able to work independently and good communication skills.
