Precast BIM Manager

About the role

AG&E Associates is seeking a driven Precast BIM Manager to lead BIM coordination, modeling, and standards development for precast projects across multiple U.S. locations. The role combines technical expertise with team leadership to ensure high‑quality project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead BIM modeling for precast erection plans, components, connections, details, and piece tickets.
• Coordinate architectural, civil, structural, and MEP models and drawings.
• Collaborate with precast manufacturers and internal engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain BIM standards, processes, and best practices.
• Oversee preparation of project documentation in line with company standards.
• Review and ensure quality and accuracy of work performed by BIM staff.
• Support business development through modeling and presentation materials.
• Manage project schedules, deadlines, and team workload.
• Mentor Precast BIM Specialists and BIM Technicians.
• Participate in training, seminars, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree or technical degree; Bachelor’s preferred in Architectural, Civil, Industrial, or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience producing precast documentation.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and coordinating workflows.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction and technical documents.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Expert proficiency in CAD and BIM software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.
