Procurement Manager – Food Supplements & Manufacturing

About the role

Bioma is looking for a Procurement Manager to own the end‑to‑end sourcing process for its probiotic supplement line. You will be responsible for building a reliable supplier network, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely, high‑quality production across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement cycle from formulation approval to production order.
• Source, evaluate, qualify and onboard new suppliers in the US and international markets.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQs, lead times and long‑term supply agreements.
• Monitor supplier performance to guarantee quality, on‑time delivery and cost competitiveness.
• Coordinate manufacturing orders and product launches according to business timelines.
• Lead ingredient compliance, labeling and localization for UK, Canada and European markets.
• Benchmark supplier pricing and capabilities to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Develop scalable procurement processes, documentation and supplier‑management standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of senior procurement or strategic sourcing experience.
• Proven track record sourcing food products or dietary supplements.
• Experience managing projects from product development through commercial production.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Ability to run multiple procurement projects simultaneously without compromising quality.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.

• Gross salary between 6,000 € and 7,000 € per month.
