Procurement Officer – Personal Care Products Manufacturing

About the role

The Procurement Officer will lead sourcing and purchasing activities for a personal care products manufacturer. You will be responsible for securing raw materials and packaging, managing supplier relationships, and supporting production planning to ensure uninterrupted supply.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for raw materials and packaging.
• Issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods.
• Compare quotations to achieve cost‑effective procurement.
• Coordinate imports of raw materials from China, the EU and other regions.
• Maintain supplier performance records and resolve supply issues.
• Monitor inventory levels, collaborate with production and stores to prevent stockouts.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and maintain documentation for audits.
• Support cost‑saving initiatives and monitor price trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field.
• 2–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of materials used in personal and home‑care manufacturing.
• Familiarity with international logistics and import procedures.
• Professional certification such as CIPS or KISM is an advantage.

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
