Program Performance Manager

About the role

The Program Performance Manager will lead the establishment, implementation and ongoing management of the CSI‑IPT Enterprise Performance Management Framework. This role provides timely, accurate and insightful reporting on program performance to senior leadership and supports decision‑making across the Hobart Class Destroyer and Hunter Class Frigate projects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver enterprise and Tasking Statement performance reports to stakeholders and leadership.
• Manage reporting and governance cadence, including performance reviews, reporting cycles and action tracking.
• Drive continuous improvement in performance measurement, reporting, governance and business processes.
• Support CSI Manager, Project Managers, engineering leadership and industry partners with performance analysis requirements.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and visualisations covering schedule, cost, risk, resource and other delivery metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline.
• Formal project management qualification or certification (e.g., PMP, CPPM) – desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in project controls, governance, performance management or PMO functions.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within the defence sector.
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
