Project Lead – Legal & Tech Strategy (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to lead a high‑impact project that shapes the regulatory framework for emerging technologies. This fully remote, full‑time role will guide the development of legal strategies that support product innovation and market expansion for a global technology leader.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive legal strategies aligned with project objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to embed legal compliance throughout development cycles.
• Lead risk assessment and mitigation for technology‑related legal challenges, including AI and data‑driven solutions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and policy documents to protect organizational interests.
• Provide expert guidance on intellectual property, data privacy, cybersecurity, and other technology law matters to non‑legal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 7 years of legal experience, with at least 3 years in a project leadership role.
• Proven track record managing complex legal projects in technology‑focused environments.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of technology law, including data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI regulations.
• Extensive experience drafting and negotiating complex legal agreements.
• Ability to translate legal concepts into actionable business strategies.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
