Property and Estate Agency Officer

About the role

The Property and Estate Agency Officer will manage the day‑to‑day operations of assigned properties, ensuring they are well‑maintained, occupied and financially productive. You will act as the main liaison between tenants, owners and service providers, driving efficient processes across leasing, maintenance and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily property operations, monitor occupancy levels and implement vacancy‑reduction strategies.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, common areas and facilities.
• Manage tenant onboarding, lease renewals, move‑ins, move‑outs and resolve complaints promptly.
• Prepare tenancy and lease agreements, maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality.
• Collect rent, follow up on arrears, prepare landlord remittance statements and monitor property income and expenses.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs and renovations, supervise contractors and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Market vacant units, conduct viewings, negotiate lease terms and track market trends.
• Supervise caretakers, cleaners, security personnel and outsourced service providers.
• Ensure compliance with legal, health, safety and environmental regulations and assist with related legal matters.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience (minimum 3 years) in property or estate agency management.
• Strong knowledge of tenancy laws, lease administration and property‑related regulations.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, financial reporting and rent collection processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with both tenants and owners.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate multiple service providers effectively.
