Purchasing Specialist – Procurement Operations

About the role

Twyford International is looking for a detail‑oriented Purchasing Specialist to support its procurement operations in Kajiado County. You will manage supplier onboarding, coordinate contract workflows, and ensure accurate procurement records while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage supplier onboarding for Kentao and Yitao general merchandise suppliers.
• Initiate, process, and monitor system workflows for one‑off and long‑term procurement contracts.
• Coordinate reconciliation and payment processing for Kentao general merchandise purchases.
• Track purchase order deliveries and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely receipt of goods.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation, records, and transaction logs.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and internal procedures.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to facilitate smooth procurement operations.
• Prepare procurement reports and provide administrative support to the procurement team as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in procurement operations, purchasing, or back‑office support.
• Strong organizational, communication, and coordination abilities.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
