Remote Contract DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a global IT services leader on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in production and staging environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of applications.
• Implement and enforce security best practices in infrastructure and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Proficiency with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong experience on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Hands‑on experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Git version control and branching strategies.
