About the role

We are looking for a Remote Data Specialist to support a leading technology company in maintaining high‑quality datasets used for training and evaluating AI models. The role focuses on reviewing, validating, and improving human‑labeled data to ensure consistency and relevance for machine‑learning pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate human‑labeled data, checking for consistency and accuracy.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in annotations by cross‑referencing source materials and guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to refine annotation guidelines and raise data‑quality standards.
• Monitor and report on labeling performance metrics, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
• Document processes, maintain records of data sources, labeling rules, and quality checks.

Required profile

• Experience with data annotation, labeling, or quality‑assurance processes (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured guidelines.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and the importance of high‑quality training data.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
