Remote Excel Analyst – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Remote Excel Analyst on a contract basis to support a global leader in the Information Services industry. The analyst will work independently to clean, transform, and visualise data using Microsoft Excel, helping business units make data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Extract data from multiple sources and consolidate it into structured Excel workbooks.
• Perform data cleaning, validation and transformation to ensure accuracy.
• Build pivot tables, charts and interactive dashboards to highlight key metrics.
• Analyse trends and generate insights that inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable reports.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working remotely.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, formulas and pivot tables.
• Experience in data cleaning, transformation and validation.
• Ability to create charts, graphs and dashboards within Excel.
