Remote Mechanical Engineer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to join a global manufacturing leader on a contract basis. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to the design and optimisation of advanced mechanical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, analyse, and test mechanical components and assemblies to meet project specifications.
• Create detailed technical drawings, schematics and documentation using CAD software.
• Perform structural, thermal and fluid‑dynamics simulations to validate concepts.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure cost‑effective production and quality control.
• Conduct failure analyses and propose design improvements based on test results.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience with CAD tools and simulation software.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
