Restaurant Supervisor

About the role

The Restaurant Supervisor will lead the front‑of‑house team at our Westlands location, ensuring excellent guest experiences and smooth daily operations. This full‑time position reports to restaurant management and requires hands‑on supervision of service staff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise waiters, hosts, bussers and barbacks during each shift.
• Greet guests, manage seating, and handle VIP or large‑party requests.
• Monitor table turnover, service speed, upselling, and menu knowledge.
• Address guest complaints promptly to maintain satisfaction.
• Conduct pre‑shift briefings, assign sections, and schedule breaks.
• Train staff on POS usage, service steps and standard operating procedures.
• Open and close the restaurant following checklists, cash float procedures and security protocols.
• Ensure front‑of‑house food safety, hygiene and health‑code compliance.
• Coordinate with the kitchen on order pacing, accuracy and comp/void handling.
• Track inventory of glassware, cutlery, linen and condiments, reporting shortages.
• Prepare shift reports covering sales, attendance, incidents and breakage.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as guest feedback, average check and labor cost.

Required profile

• Minimum 36 months (3 years) of supervisory experience in food services or hospitality.
• Mid‑level experience with proven ability to lead and coach a front‑of‑house team.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to resolve issues quickly.
• Attention to detail and adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
