Retail Product Manager

About the role

The Retail Product Manager will lead the end‑to‑end lifecycle of retail‑focused networking, power and solar solutions for Redress Technology Limited. Based on‑site in Nairobi, the role blends market analysis, product definition, pricing and go‑to‑market execution to drive growth across retail and channel channels.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct competitor and market research to shape product strategy.
• Define product specifications, pricing models and bundle offerings in collaboration with sales teams.
• Coordinate with technical teams to ensure product documentation and specifications are accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Align inventory levels and promotional activities with demand forecasts.
• Train retail and channel partners on product features and value propositions.
• Gather customer feedback and translate insights into product improvements.
• Prepare regular performance reports covering sales, customer experience and market trends.

Required profile

• Proven product management experience, including roadmap planning and go‑to‑market execution.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret market data, sales trends and customer insights.
• Sales and channel management skills, with experience in negotiation and revenue generation.
• Project management capability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and product launches.
• Customer‑experience focus to enhance retail interactions and satisfaction.
• Relevant experience in technology, networking, power or renewable‑energy products, especially in retail or channel environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
