Sales Account Manager

About the role

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving hotel revenue through the development, management and growth of key accounts across luxury, corporate, diplomatic/embassy and leisure segments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of key accounts across luxury, corporate, diplomatic/embassy, UN, government and leisure segments, focusing on revenue growth and long‑term partnerships.
• Identify and actively pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, client visits, referrals, industry events and targeted sales calls.
• Negotiate corporate agreements, preferred rates, contracts and tenders in line with the hotel’s commercial strategy.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management, Reservations, Front Office, F&B, Events and other departments to ensure client requirements are met and exceptional guest experiences delivered.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and account performance, providing intelligence to the Director of Sales & Marketing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Sales & Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in hotel sales, preferably in a 4/5‑star or luxury environment, with a track record of managing and growing corporate and diplomatic accounts.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera or similar property management system.
• Experience using CRM systems for account management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong PowerPoint presentation abilities.
